Creativity For Business is a consultancy that provides arts-based, creative training and development for businesses and organisations. My brief was to produce a bold, colourful yet elegant design, which I then sliced and diced into hand-coded, valid XHTML and CSS. Alasdair Murray is the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Bournemouth West, Alderney and Branksome East. He required a clean design that spoke equally well to every age group and area in the constituency. I produced the design using the GIMP and then translated it into a Drupal theme that renders content as valid XHTML and CSS. You can view screenshots of the site below, or look at the live site here.
Hubbub
Hubbub was an open-source social networking application that provided a rich, semantic interface to the APIs for Twitter and FriendFeed. Hubbub was implemented using XForms, JavaScript, XHTML and CSS.
Sidewinder
Sidewinder was an open-source application framework, which enabled rich desktop applications to be constructed using markup languages such as HTML, XForms and SVG. Sidewinder was written in C++, utilising open-source libraries such as wxWidgets, libCurl and Mozilla's SpiderMonkey to provide some of the key functionality.
